'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League homecoming

Kane marks his 100th goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has stated that his interest in coming back to the Premier League has lessened and he is willing to explore a new deal with Bayern Munich.

The prolific striker is at the moment midway through the four-year contract he agreed to when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the transfer window of 2023.

The experienced forward has scored an impressive 103 goals in 106 games for the German side, contributing them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which represented the maiden important achievement of his notable career.

Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has earlier stated that he would welcome to see Kane come back to England, where he needs 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring feat of 260.

However, the England skipper has now clarified that he is no longer as eager about going back home as he previously was, and would definitely consider prolonging his stay in Bavaria.

"In terms of extending longer, I could definitely see that," he remarked.

"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be willing to talk and have an straightforward conversation.

"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so goes and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not focusing about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have realized in my career is that different chances and different moments happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."

Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the record top goalscorer for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the quickest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five competitions, reaching the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a trophy had avoided him until he lifted the German title last season.

Kane states that he was not sure how he would react after ending his trophy barren spell, but now feels it has made him eager for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be easy to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.

"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.

"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
